Review # 1 was written on 2016-06-07 00:00:00 Kenneth McPherson Great history of Marquette County. One of my favorite stories was when cattle were shipped to the area via Lake Superior, before docks were built, the sailors would push them overboard. They would then swim to the waiting herdsmen on the shore! I've swam in these waters and they are rarely, if ever, warm. I don't think PETA would go for that today.
