Review # 1 was written on 2011-12-30 00:00:00 Dennis Remavich I referred to the photos in this book while reading "The Girls of Atomic City". One observation that becomes obvious when looking at these photos is the extreme degree of racial segregation among the Oak Ridge community. Also obvious is that the photographer/author took very few photos of the negro Americans who worked at Oak Ridge during the war effort. There are only 6 photos of negro Americans in this book.
