Review # 1 was written on 2020-07-16 00:00:00 William Ferguson Ii I give it 5 stars for what it is. It is a book about tricks to negotiate and understand the other parties better. The cover sucks, the looks of the writer are not extremely engaging, but even if the design fell out of fashion, the contain remains fresh, helpful and up to date after 25 years of the books first publication. Nothing you will read goes to waste. That doesn't mean you will have the most enjoyable reading experience (there's literature better orientated to those purposes), though it is still easy to digest. In my case, I have it on my desk in the office, and i read a few pages every now and again. That allows the content to soak up better in ones memory. And often explains some of the things you might prefer to know when negotiating or not to have to ask to your colleagues or specially to the other party. If a concept requires more deepness it is up to oneself to dig deeper on the a bit of research to expand the concept, as in anything else in life. It is a very good tool, to bring one up to speed in the negotiation techniques. (I got adverts popping up on my computer screen for a month after buying from amazon to engage one of his seminaries. That was a bit of a pain....)

Review # 2 was written on 2016-06-25 00:00:00 Michael Doyle It's a good book to reflect in our negotiation processes. I believe that if we wait a few years and then read it again, we will find a lot of new things. Since is a kind of list about several topics is sometimes a little bit hard to read a lot of pages in the same day. But I would say that is a good slow reading book. :)
