Review # 1 was written on 2015-01-20 00:00:00 Lauren Giovannoni My sister had Deegie at BHS so it is fun to have a personal connection to the book. I mostly follow the Indians but I did recognize a lot of the other names. I know the point of the book is to talk about the sports failures but it would have been nice to have a little bit more about the good times. Go Tribe! |
Review # 2 was written on 2020-05-13 00:00:00 Main Lao I met the author at a cattle meeting several years ago and bought his book and stuck it on the shelf, not opening it until now. If you grew up in the Dakota's I think you'll like this book, if you didn't, I don't know if you'll "get" it. It's full of the places and people that I know, literally. And Isern was one of the few that predicted the comeback of the plains. Yes, we do end our sentences with proposition. Now go hang your coat up. |
