This is a series of interviews with Tejanos, the people of Hispanic descent who were present before, during, and after the battle of the Alamo. Though they were children at the time, their recollections make for a fascinating read. I consider myself very well informed on the subject, but I realize that until now, only half the story was told. This is a MUST read for any serious student of the Texas war for independence.

This gives the story of the Battle of the Alamo from the Tejanos {hispanic Texans} from both sides, those who supported Santa Anna and those who opposed him. It would make a good read for those engaged in today's immigration debate.
