Review # 1 was written on 2014-07-01 00:00:00 Stephen Villa Since I'm 75 myself, I thought it might be appropriate to see if Henry Miller had any suggestions for me for my next 5 years. He didn't. But, I still enjoyed reading a mature Henry Miller. Besides, the book was pubished here in Santa Barbara by our own Noel Young as the very FIRST in his Chapbook series (which grew to 41 books).

Review # 2 was written on 2018-03-16 00:00:00 danny cleworth أربعة فصول متنوعة في كتاب صغير الحجم، يكتب الأمريكي هنري ميللر عن الحياة من خلال ثمانين عاما مر بها ومرت به، وهو الفصل الأول وأمتعهم على الإطلاق، أما الفصل الثاني وهو عن الكاتب يوكيو ميشيما ومرثية لروحه، والثالث والرابع لم استمتع بهما كثيرا. ناهيك طبعا عن سوء الترجمة. من جميل الإقتباسات لدي ميللر:- -إنه أمر رائع أن تحضر مشهدا جميلا. ولكن اﻷكثر روعة أيضا هو أن تلتقي في الشارع بمشرد مسرور لايستطيع أبدا التوقف عن الغناء كما لايستطيع التوقف عن التنفس ولاينتظر أيضا أقل مكافأة على جهوده. - خذ الحياة كما هي، وادفع نفسك فيها، وانشر البهجة والفوضى
