Review # 1 was written on 2014-07-23 00:00:00 Derek Heald This book tells the story in human as well as management and economic terms of what happened in the Baxter Travenol-American Hospital Supply merger--one of the major corporate mergers of the late 1980s. Good business book.

Review # 2 was written on 2016-07-05 00:00:00 Terence S Park Brigham and Houston's text seems pretty informative, but I found myself frequently supplementing this text with additional resources. I also found that some of the concepts presented were not explained clearly or sufficiently enough for introductory financial management students. At best, this book serves as an introduction to new concepts that the reader will need to research further (and, in some instances, much further) on his/her own to develop a good fundamental understanding of financial management.
