Review # 1 was written on 2016-01-17 00:00:00 Elizabeth C. Reyes I have primarily used this hiking guide to augment more poorly-covered sections in the Central Coast and Santa Cruz mountains. My favorite hikes in this area are the Berry Creek Falls loop hike in Big Basin Redwoods State Park, the Sykes Hot Springs hike in Big Sur, and the Pinnacles National Monument hikes. However this book also includes one of my favorite Yosemite hikes to Ostrander Lake as well as the Rae Lakes loop in Kings Canyon National Park. These are both superb!

Review # 2 was written on 2008-04-27 00:00:00 Marianne Thompson This is a great book for hiking ideas, sometimes the hiking directions were a little off, but it is the nature of these types of books I think.
