I appreciate the author's detailed explanation of the imagery, especially the understanding of the human heart of Jesus also being the heart of God the Father and God the Holy Spirit.

That is to say, this book is rare in combining a remarkable level of scholarship with real piety and beauty! Alas, too often these two orientations are not united!
