Blurb: Sex for les aventureux and the timorous. Sex in bed is so-o-o-o everyday, everyone...But sex everywhere, anywhere -- that's a whole new world of fun. The possibility of being discovered, the thrill of breaking the rules, the freedom of doing it in nature -- all can bring you and your partner to new heights of passion (and adrenaline). On the beach or in an elevator, in your car or on a swing or seesaw, in the forest or on your balcony...this book inventories the possibilities, warns you of the risks, and gives you the practical advice you need to make it happen. So go forth and multiply, or prosper, or whatever you get inspired to do! What Stephanie Thought: About the size of my outstretched hand, Dare...to Have Sex Everywhere but in Bed is a cute, pocket-sized sex guide perfect for couples who want to spice things up within their intimacy. Who wants boring old bedrooms when you can have nightclubs, ski resorts, parked cars, or movie theaters? Almost every public (and private!) place you can imagine that is NOT a bed is mentioned. Marc Dannam, who originally wrote this guide in French, is a sex expert who offers "saucy advice". I mean, the Europeans do do it better, don't they? ;) I loved how organized and step-by-step this book is. Though positions are not explained in thorough detail (you and your partner should be able to figure that part out yourselves), relevant erotic writing excerpts, concerns, potential risks, recommended adult movies, difficulties, pleasures, preparations, costs, and inconveniences are all elaborated upon to ensure the safest, most legal of experiences for a reader who decides to try one of the book's suggestions. There are more books in the Dare... series and thanks to Dannam's wit, descriptive advice, and convenient, easy-t0-read book, I definitely will be looking out for the next one. Stephanie Loves: "A vacation at the beach cries out for adventurous sexuality: the warm weather, the sultry smell of coconut oil and sweat, all that young skin in the sun. While many beachgoers only think about practical aspects of being in the heat, maybe you can let your imagination wander freely and create opportunities for fun in the sand." -- from "At the Seaside". Doesn't it make you want summer? Where Stephanie Got It: Received directly from Hunter House for review. Radical Rating: 9 hearts- One of my all-time favorites! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Dare to Have Sex Everywhere but in Bed by Marc Dannam is the second book by him that I have read. This one is more straight-forward and is broken down into several sections. It covers all areas of the bedroom, the home, at work, in town, evening parties, on vacation, in the countryside, and at the beach or in the mountains. Each chapter discusses the difficulties, preparation, costs associated, pleasures and risks, and any inconveniences. The author also has included associated reading material and films as a recommendation. Some of the chapters include actual accounts from people; some of these are not for the faint of heart. The author includes warnings are everywhere and advises the readers to check their local laws. A very quick read at only 118 pages, I like that this book is small enough to fit into a purse. All of the books in this series are geared for more mature audiences only. I highly recommend this book and it would make a great addition to a permanent library.
