Review # 1 was written on 2012-07-02 00:00:00 Charlo Galea This was really good! It is simplified in the retelling of the legend for children with colorful pictures to go along with it, and in the back Mayo describes her sources and elaborates a bit on each tale. It makes me want to read each and every single one of her sources for more fun-filled legends of old.

Review # 2 was written on 2019-07-15 00:00:00 Stacey Linenkugel I give this book 4.5 stars because it was very interesting and educational. the only reason it's not 5 stars is that I was looking for a book to give me information about mythical creatures and this was just a bunch of stories. Other than that it was really good.
