Review # 1 was written on 2018-09-21 00:00:00 Denise Guthrie This version of Goldilocks is pretty similar to the one that I remember hearing as a child. Goldilocks was a spoiled little girl who got whatever she wanted. One day, she left her house and was walking through the woods when she became hungry. She came upon the cottage and smelled porridge. She tried papa bear's and momma bear's but they didn't taste good. When she tried baby bear's porridge, it was delicious so she ate all of it. Then she needed to sit down and papa bear and momma bear's chairs were uncomfortable, but baby bear's chair was perfect. When she sat in the chair, it broke into one hundred pieces. Goldilocks became very tired and wanted a nap. Baby bear had the most comfortable bed and she fell asleep. When the Bear family came home, they noticed that their food was eaten, their chairs were messed up, and their beds were slept in. Baby bear started yelling when he saw Goldilocks in his bed. When Goldilocks woke up, she screamed and ran home. The Bear family put a lock on their house and Goldilocks stopped being a spoiled brat.

Review # 2 was written on 2018-08-29 00:00:00 frederic vigneron This is about a girl who goes into a house without permission and eats their food, breaks their chairs, and then sleeps in their beds. I enjoyed this version of Goldilocks, because the author made it known to the readers that Goldilocks was a brat. He does not make Goldilocks seem innocent. I also like how she learned manners after finding out the house was owned by bears. Overall, a good book for a child.
