Review # 1 was written on 2015-12-02 00:00:00 Julian Young Joy made pencil drawings wherever he went, and many appear in his book. Sixty days do not sound long to us, but he was there. I found his transition from replacement to honest-to-gosh soldier interesting.

Review # 2 was written on 2015-07-18 00:00:00 Chet Hurley I liked this book. It really lays out what a typical Infantryman would experience on the frontline towards the end of WW2. I wish that he would have included more emotion so that I could have better connect with his story. But I'm sure he wrote this many many years after these events took place!
