Review # 1 was written on 2013-03-03 00:00:00 Eric Speirs This is a highly readable, professionally produced book into which I dip regularly in carrying out historical research. Beautifully written and illustrated, as are all of Bardon's books, the latest edition has a splendid dust cover incorporating Joseph McWilliam's painting 'Long Parade'. I received this as a Christmas gift from my daughter and am eternally grateful for it and delighted with it.

Review # 2 was written on 2020-04-13 00:00:00 James Vigil Very good mostly non-biased history of northern Ireland from the point of someone that seemed from the loyalist side. It was good to read it from the other point of view than the typical histories from the republican view point.
