I was aksed by the University library to read the book and recommend whetehr it shoudl be removed from the shelves. The book is now 22 years old and clearly the information is outdated but I was amazded to note teh wealth of information it contains!Every chapter has thousands of references which can be extremely useful for researchers in this field! To the best of my knowledge this book by Ashoka Jahnavi Prasad is teh first ever exercise to compile the evidence for neurological basis of neuroses.Forward by Merton Sandler is very revealing.I have ascertained that the book remains on the reference shelf of the British Library.Ans so it should for at least the next few years.

Now in its second edition, Walser's collection remains an incredibly useful miscellany for understanding the ragged range of responses to jazz over the past one hundred years.
