Review # 1 was written on 2019-08-25 00:00:00 Donald Fisher 3.5? I know it was published in 2009, and many things seemed dated after ten years. Overall, her rooms didn't appeal to me -- too gaudy, too much orange, not practical enough. However, Suzanne Kasler is a talent, and I was inspired by the captions to the photos the most, as they outlined her thought processes and explained why she made certain choices. She is very attuned to details and how they change a room, what they say about the style, the period of inspiration, etc. An interesting read and I will pick up a more recent book by her.
