Review # 1 was written on 2007-09-26 00:00:00 Michael Galliher The first chapter of the book was written by my two daughters. Of course I think that's the best chapter. Some of the other essays are depressing, but all are helpful to anyone who wants to understand what race, culture, class, and gender do to the bodies and spirits of young women who are "mixed" in some way.
