Review # 1 was written on 2016-12-20 00:00:00 David Kraft There are much to be said about this book, and non are bad, but the consideration for the fact that this book provides short information. It is divided into time-lines, gives dates, names and after each paragraph there is a classification as to where this information belongs to - Earth Science or Physics etc. The information provided is most helpful, but as I said times before, these generalized books of dictionaries, chronologies or encyclopedias - they require further reading, if you are interested. Thumbs up and reading on. |
Review # 2 was written on 2016-09-28 00:00:00 Ooska Pron This is the book that inspired me to give up fighting what I saw as mainstream unenlightened biological determinism in psychology, and enrol as a mature age student in psychology while a single parent of four. The language is difficult and challenging and the concepts complex, it took me many attempts to get it, but worth the effort. A classic, an all time favorite. I read it twenty years ago, after having the privelege of attending a workshop with the author, a delightful shamen of a man. His ultimate message is that human beings are biologically programmed for love, and that love and relationship in language is what makes us human. |
