While making a very fair point, the book has actually confused me. This is not necessarily a bad thing given that the confusion may have come out of the lack of knowledge prior to reading the book. Nevertheless, it would be wise if further reading would be done on the topics that have been mentioned, just to have a more deeper perspective.

Heymann calls for "thoughtful common sense" in order battle terrorism Key to developing anti-terror resources is to make them dual-use, so they can be used even when there is no terror. The Israelis have developed flexibility in terrorist hostage situations - in Israel they conduct an armed rescue, in hostile country they negotiate, and in a friendly country they let that country take the lead Grabbing a person in a foreign country and bringing them here (as with Kansi in 1997 - FBI took him in Pakistan and brought to US - had killed 2 CIA officers) is not violation of our law, just theirs - so a diplomatic issue Don't overreact
