Review # 1 was written on 2011-02-18 00:00:00 Jihyeon Rim I have finished the part of this book assigned for class next week. While it gives a decent overview, I think it is problematic in some of the simplifications. I am concerned when a clear line is drawn in situations of domestic violence between perpetrator and victim, without allowing for the possibility that the adults might alternate who is perpetrator. I think that book assumes CPS would be called in such a situation, but that is not necessarily the case. There are divorce disputes that go through the court system without anyone realizing that neither party is doing much to care for the child stuck in the middle. |
Review # 2 was written on 2016-04-01 00:00:00 Wade Murray Straightforward and insightful. Names the reality of the church today and the role of leadership in the midst of liminality. |
