Review # 1 was written on 2021-01-04 00:00:00 Arthur Anderson Great introduction to baptized Aristotelian metaphysics, perfect being theology, and the logical foundation for Aquinas's Quinque viæ. I don't find this kind of philosophical theology convincing (I just don't buy into most of the presuppositions), but it is an excellent introduction to this kind of thinking. Simply and deeply written. Also nice to read something that weds poetry and philosophy, something not uncommon in the past but rare in the present.
