Review # 1 was written on 2008-04-28 00:00:00 Kenneth Finto this book is about a guy that everyone called" the king of rock & roll". the main characters are Elvis his parents, and Priscilla beaulieu. The main characters in the story did basically nothing except give Elvis encouragement and support. They did run into some problems like difficulty with record company's, death, and divorce. Elvis had some adventures, like when he put his career on hold to join that military, or going to England for some shows. my favorite character was Elvis because he has some really cool clothes. I could relate to Elvis parents because if i was was them i would never expect my child to become a movie star and famous singer. They probably had such a shock at first, i wonder if they got any recognition at all? Ive done almost everything Elvis has,expect become famous, when hes with his friends and family I'm funny and fun to be around most of the time. But lie Elvis, id hate to be sop famous that you wouldn't be able to go out side with out being stormed by a crowd. i did like the book, it was really interesting to learn about such a famous person and get to know a lot about him. My favorite part of the book was when he became depressed and forgetful. If i could change something in the book it would be nothing, the book was perfect and good to read as well. The only down side top it is that there isnt any color in the pictures. i would recommend this book to anyone that wants to read about elvis. i would think think that its good for any project. the type of person that would like this book is someone who like elvis or just likes to learn about types of older music. And just a norlmal person who like to read about stuff would like it to.
