This book was written by an Italian sociologist, Danilo Zolo. Essentially, he accuses the soldiers of the so-called American-British hegemony for gross violations of international law and for "war crimes" while their enemies, who lost World War II and other conflicts, were prosecuted as war criminals. The author's premise is essentially "victors' might makes right." This sophomoric reasoning is nothing new, and a rehash of The Far Left's and Far Right's rants during the Cold War for the same "hypocrisy." Now no one should defend abuse of power and war crimes committed by anyone. However, the author obviously hates America and the U.K, and he fails to overcome his prejudice. A scholar with any integrity would have presented a balanced analysis; but Mr. Zolo must lack integrity. After all, he is another European who thrived under our Nuclear Umbrella during the Cold War, at no cost to him or his government but paid for by Americans. Clearly, Mr. Zolo's memory of the Cold War and any gratitude he may have felt dissipated as the Berlin Wall was torn down. (Curiously, Zolo says nothing about the war crimes of Mussolini.)

Another proud failure of the governmental school system weaving his little conspiracies, or what tax money can buy. The facts are there. The understanding isn't there. With brain droppings like: > In the first place, now that NATO was no longer committed to opposing the Warsaw Pact countries, following the Pact's dissolution, the defensive strategy of the alliĀance had to be revised. Of course. See Area 51. After the US seer talked with the Reptilian overlords the US President started NATO as a preemptive measure to counterbalance an organization founded 8 years later. Don't listen to the shills telling you that the Warsaw Pact was, in fact, made to mirror NATO as the seer has clearly pointed out.
