Review # 1 was written on 2017-10-25 00:00:00 Bryan Neeley Why was it written? Out of a runaway enthusiasm for new technology. This book is not a child of science or technology, but that of mere excitement. Not worth much.

Review # 2 was written on 2013-06-20 00:00:00 Carlos Ortega This is a collection of essays written for popular science magazines and compiled into a book which neither informs nor entertains. Though dated, the wild promises it makes in regards to nanotech for the near future (i.e., 5 years ago) don't seem very exciting in retrospect. Atkinson's book makes nanotech look like the cold fusion of the 2000s.
