Review # 1 was written on 2013-01-13 00:00:00 Patricia Foote The theology of this book -- to the degree that I can discern -- follows the Aristotelian-Thomistic tradition with a cosmic, evolutionary, universal and generous modernity. It is beautifully written without overboard pious; lucid and lyrical without being archaic or slangy. It also contains special prayers for difficult situations such as tragedy, death and cremation, in addition to the joyful occasions such as wedding and anniversaries. Highly recommended for modern Christian devotional practice. |
Review # 2 was written on 2018-01-10 00:00:00 Carlo Spoon Book offers new ways to pray. |
