A simple history of the 19th Century. Good coverage of topics - global not just Euro-centric. Good pictures and illustration means it could be useful as a simple additional reader for students.

The Lewis and Clark Expedition by Patricia Quiri 11/19/18 5/5 Nonfiction: Biography (Memoir), Grades 3-4 The Lewis and Clark expedition is one that is talked about in every elementary school across the United States. When the information comes from history books, it can almost be uninteresting to children. However, I think this book would be great in place of reading it out of a history book because it was very informative on Lewis and Clark and their expedition. I think the pictures also added interest to the book. I would recommend this for middle elementary students.
