Review # 1 was written on 2015-06-16 00:00:00 Bryan L Mon I was taken aback by the concept of labor alienation or estranged labor... This is the very 1st time I read for Marx about the way he perceives the psyche of the worker and I sort of admire his point. To paraphrase what he said ; he elaborates that the workers become more alienated from themselves the more they produce objects. The worker sinks to the level of accomodity (just like the married women in his opinion). The more labor works, the more impoverished, undignified and alienated they feel.Interestingly, This might seem counterintuitive, because when you work you know more about your self, you learn about your capacities and your limitations, but all this would be lacking when the labor loses the property of their objects; so they become externalized.Unfortunately for Marx, his predictions about the future turned out to be wrong. He claimed that Class Conflict "Thesis" and Contradiction "Antithesis" is merely what pushes the history along.On the contrary, the powerful countires are capitalists nowadawys....
