if you are (like me) looking for unbiased info on global climate change - this probably isn't the book for you. Don't get me wrong, for the last 25 of my 40-some years I've felt we should be completely off oil based energy, but I'm still not sure we have a complete view of our impact on the environment. There have been times in our earth's history with much higher Co2 levels not caused by humans. I'm just sayin'...this book didn't help me find the answers...it presumed I was already in agreement.

An efficiently-written and brief introduction to the sorts of small-scale technologies that will be very useful if civilization collapses and isn't coming back. A sort of boy scout manual for folks who think the end is nigh.
