I chose to read it for a class I took on the history of modern Latin America, and it really opened my eyes to what life is like for women in Brazil.

Review # 2 was written on 2013-12-07 00:00:00 Paul Cooper This is a fascinating book. The accounts by various women from different parts of society really tell a lot about Brazil in the 60s, 70s and 80s.
