Review # 2 was written on 2012-08-13 00:00:00 Steven Hanna I suppose this book was a good overview of the history of Street Fighter, but it was mostly full of images. I feel like you'd be better off just reading the information off of a site and potentially purchasing the art book SF20. I was pretty miffed with the author, as I'm under the impression that he didn't know everything about the artists, especially when it came to Bengus/CRMK--some images were labeled as Bengus or CRMK... But it's the same artist. I was very much annoyed with the constant description of female characters as "sexy" without any other type of substance. This definitely wasn't a "complete" history because it didn't cover the name changes of characters Vega, Balrog, M. Bison and Akuma. I borrowed it from the library--definitely not worth 20 bucks. Reading about Street Fighter does make me happy, but this book is just really...basic.
