Review # 1 was written on 2020-07-01 00:00:00 Michael Krismer Excellent from an amazing researcher... Thus book is filled with amazing info on important people and inventions. Once you start it, it's hard to stop. The narration is done in a captivating way that leaves you not wanting the book to end.

Review # 2 was written on 2011-03-06 00:00:00 Laurie Cobler Interesting if scatter shot of the birth of famous people and things (chain restaurants, food). Unfortunately, many items are now gone, only an address remains as a result of progress. Do we lose something with the destruction of the first of a chain restaurant? Probably not, but when something gets to be a household name, it can be nice to think that it started somewhere that we can go visit, or even go eat at the original "X" restaurant, small and humble as it may be. Still fun.
