Review # 1 was written on 2019-01-02 00:00:00 Edmond Osborn Animals, plants, oh my! This book is enlightening. I learned so much in just over 250 pages about our beautiful region. I have noted the dates and locations in the Southern Appalachian region in which monarch butterflies pass through, lightning bugs flourish and bio-luminescent mushrooms take over the night to see these natural phenomenons with my own eyes. If you are in the mood for a learning experience about the beauty of our environment, this book is for you! |
Review # 2 was written on 2014-07-28 00:00:00 John Aguurs Sr This book can't quite decide if it wants to be a nature guide or a piece of creative writing on the beauty of nature. Despite this slightly schizo approach to writing the book is well worth reading for anyone who wants to know happens throughout the seasons in the Southern Appalachians. |
