Review # 1 was written on 2013-08-19 00:00:00 Sean Carlisle This was awesome to read with my first while waiting for our second to come. It was only on library loan then. In anticipation of #3, I found and bought it. My first now gets it down and asks that I read it. And quotes from it, like last night while I was rocking him before putting him in bed. I told him to talk to the baby, and he said a couple things, including (a paraphrase from the book (: ) "I'm(or was it "We're"?) waiting and waiting and waiting for you!" I hope it will help #2 prep and get excited to have another friend in the family... :)

Review # 2 was written on 2015-07-28 00:00:00 James A. Yates My two year old was able to relate a little bit better to this book than to others I've read so far, about a new baby joining the family. In the book the little boy is talking to the baby in his mommy's tummy, and telling her all the things they will do together. I was able to say "you'll be able to help dress baby too" or "read books to baby too" or "play in the bath too". I want my little girl to feel involved and to look forward to her little brother, so I think this was a good approach.
