Review # 1 was written on 2011-02-08 00:00:00 Ryan M Cool This book gives a general overview of the study of historiography and the authors that make up that historiography. The Breisach book that I had to read is much better and I enjoyed that one more. i would suggest the Breisach book over this one anyday. This one did have important authors that Breisach generally skipped but nonetheless I think this book was much harder to read and I will probably leave this one on the shelf a lot longer then most other books I have read.

Review # 2 was written on 2016-02-21 00:00:00 Alejandra Lozano While not a fan of historiography, I did enjoy this more than other texts. Mostly because I'm an American historian but partly because it read a little less dry than the others.
