Review # 1 was written on 2009-11-21 00:00:00 Donnalynn Dolan I finished this literally the night before there was a book talk on it for my student teaching program, and it was a struggle to finish. I've been trying to figure out how to review this without being a rude asshole, so the moral of the story is that while I think the author made good points throughout the book and clearly has a lot of passion for the kids and the field, none of this information was life changing for me because of experiences I've already had and other things I've read before this. Hopefully it made a difference for some of my classmates, but it just wasn't for me. |
Review # 2 was written on 2014-05-17 00:00:00 Specer Burgon I have very little use for an author that wants to overlook every possible cause of school shootings and latch onto his pet theory that they're caused by demon possession. Even before I left my faith, I knew that to ignore every socioeconomic and educational factor was patent absurdity. I would actively lose friends to keep them from reading this book. |
