Review # 2 was written on 2012-09-07 00:00:00 Carlton Jarvis Christmas in the house of O'Byrne It starts off with an in depth description of the magical O'Byrne house. Where over 70 of the family are gathering for Christmas There are many characters in this story all related and invited for the 12 days of Christmas, I did find it confusing trying to sort out who is who and who is a daughter grand daughter and so on as they are all very long lived and all at the house for Christmas. I enjoyed the characters and the ideas in this book a lot, but for me there were too many stories all jumbled together I could see a good 3 books in this one. There is a half a dozen main stories lines going on in this book, each tale is intriguing and has its own hook. There is a lot of spice to this book, and I felt like some of the plots could have been expanded and explained a bit more. I will go back and read some of the other books the author has written to see if she has continued or expanded their stories I loved Tickle the magical floor
