not in library, and out of my price range. Kindle edition is $17 and second hand is $50 with shipping. Keep an eye out for a cheap copy.

A literary critique on Stephen King's "The Stand." This was a pretty large group of people dissecting King's novel, and they dissected pretty much everything about the novel; from religion, politics, rationalism, and free will. As usual with these books, they are just opinions on what King has written, and what they feel King is trying to say in his works. Most of it is obvious, and some of it is far fetched. But, it was very good to go back to this novel with this literary criticism, which I've read multiple times, but it has been at least 10 years since the last reading. So it was fun to get reacquainted with the characters and setting, and read and see what others thought about the book. I liked it, because I think "The Stand" is probably King's best novel. But, I wouldn't say this is essential reading. It's only for super fans of "The Stand."
