Review # 1 was written on 2019-07-02 00:00:00 Carl Bradeen Shiraz Durrani does for librarianship what Paulo Friere does for education. Most of the articles are historical rather than theoretical, dealing with particular issues, mostly the need rural Kenyans have to information access. This book also contains interviews and reviews. Considering the lack of books on progressive thought in librarianship, this is worth a read. |
