Review # 1 was written on 2019-07-29 00:00:00 Hiroki Tsujikami This book clearly and coherently impresses upon the reader the hard to grasp concepts covered in Zhuangzi. While Zhuangzhi is wonderful in and of itself, having an expert guide, a new one each chapter, contrasting the Zhuangzhi or parts of its implications, groundings or principles against current (Derrida) or old (Sextus Empiricus) is a a enlightening experience. As it is said, one cannot talk to the frog of the ocean, but this book comes close. |
