m on page 381 of 448 of The Way of the Dragon ' 0 minutes ago ' update status review ** spoiler alert ** Book report Heart Transplants Written and illustrated by nancy Hoffman Lucent books and thomas learning This book is about the history of open heart surgery, medical breakthroughs and heart transplant's. The genre of the book is Body This book is a non-fiction book set in the 1950's,60'and 70's in South Africa and the Usa.This book talks about Christian Banard,Denton Cooley,Micheal Debaker,Numan Shumway and Walt Lillehei five famous cardiac surgery or heart translpant doctors Competed against each other All of them have done heart transplant's before, but Dr Benard was the first first docter to do human to human heart transplant. Strenghts of book I think the strength's of this book is that it has been written to talk about a topic many people aren't intrested about, also because this book is well ilustrated and there is a sufficient amount of imformation hthat if people they will have enough detail so they can get a picture of what this topic is about. Weaknesses of book The weakness of this book is the amount of medical terminolagy that is used for example heart lung machine which people might not understand. Did the charectors learn the lesson In this book every body learned a lesson beceause Heart transplant's was a new thing back then so everbody had a lot to learn. Conclusion What I like about this book is that to me this book is really fascinating and I would recommend this book to trainee Heart translpantation surgens because the imformation is useful and can help them get a better gransping of knolege for a Heart transplant.
