It's fine - the concept is really interesting, the town is well done, and then the adventure sticks the players on rails seemingly to pad for time and the writer forgot all the details that were planned. My suggestions: 1. Adjust the forest random encounter table to include chances for more clues. There's a "destroyed village" mentioned in the adventure that doesn't make an appearance - make one. Just some burned out village with skeletons is enough to get the idea across. 2. There is a dungeon shoved into the adventure to waste time until the players make it to the bototm, where a ghost explains the plot. Ditch the dungeon, or make it an optional - unrelated - areas to explore. You don't need it if you just add some clues in the other locations. 3. There's notes on playing up the animal nature of the townsfolk that are buried in a single line. Just casually note that the villagers sniff the adventurers (I added an aside, maybe because you've been on the road so long?), growl at each other, etc. 4. The adventure is dependent on "they have defenses against magic/detection!" that are not necessary for 5e. 5. Add a mechanic where the cambion's song controls/enrages the villagers. This makes the final battle more interesting - do they go after the BBEG, the cambion, or deal with the horde of (semi-innocent) villagers?

Well, my gaming group loved the Sunless Citadel and the Forge of Fury, so we are continuing with the set and moving on to the Standing Stone. Can't wait to see what they come up with! Game has started with much fun had by all. I did change up a couple of things in the ending (for one, I am not making my guys go through a maze, I changed it up with some traps and a "decoder" door riddle. However, for the most part, this is a great campaign.
