Review # 1 was written on 2013-07-04 00:00:00 Heather Vernon The author's bias really ruined this book for me. I knew it was unauthorized, but I didn't expect scathing opinionated comments to continually pop up. There may have been factual information but I had a hard time trusting what I was reading since there were many unsubstantiated claims. There were also just so many opinions and judgments expressed by the author like when he writes about a new segment that Katie introduced at CBS, "...it wasted precious time that should have been devoted to more substantive matters." I guess I expected more reporting of the facts instead of so much of his ideas of what she really should be like.

Review # 2 was written on 2020-05-26 00:00:00 Tiffany Horne Like a lot of "unauthorized" bios, this one reads like an elongated People magazine article, just enough information to get your attention, but full of suppositions (Katie could have been there, might have felt the same way ... you get the message). So far, it's the only biography of Katie Couric, so, if you read it, get what information that's offered and move on!
