Review # 1 was written on 2012-06-18 00:00:00![]() Robins, J. (1993). Addie’s Bad Day. New York: HarperCollins Publishers. A bad hair cut for a young girl makes it for quite an interesting day. This young girl has to deal with what she feels is a bad hair cut, on a day that her best friend is having a birthday party. The two friends figure out a way to get around the hair problem to attempt to enjoy the party. I like how the story is from the standpoint of a young girl that perhaps gets her first hair cut ever. This is definitely a story that young children can relate to a “hair cut” and their appearance. |
Review # 2 was written on 2017-08-24 00:00:00![]() How did this get by an editorial team? Just dumb. The first Addie book is cute, but the other two just don't work. |
