Review # 1 was written on 2008-05-14 00:00:00 Ulrich Niem�ller Not very good, I think, but it's rather old, so it's okay. The /q/ is sometimes analysed and written as , sometimes as . It's rather weird. The reason for the use of and isn't explained either, though they're both pronounced [j]. The grammatical descriptions is a bit short, but gives an acceptable overview on the general principle. |
Review # 2 was written on 2016-07-15 00:00:00 Jeremiah Hodges I strongly recommend buying the accompanying cassettes or CDs. This is a useful resource for learning Arabic but it is not easy to self-study with it without the CDs, which I don't have. This is a good book to use if you want to improve your Arabic reading skills as there is lots of Arabic script, unlike 'Kullu Tamam!' for example. |
