Review # 1 was written on 2016-10-22 00:00:00 Mark Flavin Russian verbs are very tricky. While there are standards for conjugation, there are many exceptions and so many different templates that it is easy to get confused. Then there are all the different verbs of motion to keep track of. I found this book essential during the time I was trying to learn Russian. It's big and bulky, but also very thorough, and gives a good overview of the basics at the front. There's an essay on semantics and syntax at the end that I never read, and I suspect almost no one else who owns this book ever does, either. |
