Review # 1 was written on 2014-04-14 00:00:00 Phyllis Mitchell This really wasn't what I was hoping for. I was expecting more of a "this is how I justify being a Christian and a soldier", but it was basically a collection of "how God helped me through this event". Which is good, and I recommend it to anyone (particularly military) that might have hit a rough patch and can't quite see God in it. It just wasn't what I was wanting to read right now. |
Review # 2 was written on 2020-12-29 00:00:00 Christopher Bragg Oh, this story was such a delight! Each of the little stories about the families waiting to adopt a child from the orphan train made me want to know what happened after they got their child! And Ethan is still the best big brother. So sweet! I wanted to take them all home with me. The Christian aspects of the story were woven in well, not just dumped. No cautions necessary. |
