Review # 1 was written on 2019-11-30 00:00:00 Paul Weyer It's nice to hold a paperback in one's hand every now and then, and since I wasn't sure of having access to my Kindle while on holiday, I carried along this paperback. It is my first read by D. Whitesmith and I really enjoyed the story of Robert, Toni and Robert's son, Bobby, and the interesting happenings going on in the little town of Ouray. It is a love story, it is a mystery, it is suspense at its best. I often figure out the case in mysteries well before the author releases the information. In this book, I didn't. Whitesmith did a good job of leading readers to a number of suspects in this unusual story starting with 'murder number one' and continuing, without revealing the true criminal until the very end. The author (not sure whether Whitesmith is a male or female) also handled the budding romance in an interesting fashion.
