Review # 1 was written on 2020-07-21 00:00:00 Jeff Alpin A long awaited analysis, unfortunately very brief. I enjoyed how Girard sees, within an immensely sacrificial body of texts, an element of non-violent inspiration. From a Christian point of view, it illustrates how the spirit goes everywhere, within, as well as outside the cultural limits of Christianity.
