Review # 1 was written on 2007-07-16 00:00:00 Al Mcculler This anthology is good introduction to the philosophy of religion. It includes readings from historical sources as well as contemporary analytic philosophers. It does includes some selections from Kierkegaard, but that is the only reading from a 19th or 20th century European philosopher. Most sections include a solid number of readings from varying perspectives. |
Review # 2 was written on 2014-04-16 00:00:00 Marilyn Eltringham Excellent discussion about how to bridge preaching and pastoral leadership! My only critique is that I had hoped for a bit more sample material. While the book does provide a case study in the final chapter, it would have been helpful to provide samples of the theory throughout the theoretical chapters. Otherwise, an extremely helpful book! |
