Review # 1 was written on 2008-03-19 00:00:00 James Mccomas If you're interested in less-developed countries/Third World countries/developing countries/whatever you prefer to think of them as, this book provides an excellent overview of the different issues of development facing the impoverished countries of the world in this century of globalization. I read it for a Third World Issues course, and it was eye-opening.

Review # 2 was written on 2008-03-22 00:00:00 Billy Safe I read this for my international development class. It was a good read and provided some interesting, and sad, insight on issues presently faced by the many countries of the global south.
